Hora mix. |
 |
|
Hora is an ancient form of chanting
prevalent amongst the Jaff tribe of South Kurdistan. It
is believed this form of chanting has survived since the
advent of Zoroastrianism, 3000 years ago. This is my own
experimental mix of Harp and Daf (sample from Hussein
Zahawy) with an old cassette of Hora that was left to
me by my father.

Day in a crazy city. |
 |
|
Bringing my friends together to jam
with a piece that I composed for harp some years ago but
never got round to recording it. Nihad Jamshir joined
me on drums and bass guitar, Rizgar Nazan on oud,
Farhad Salih on violin.

Love of a tree |
 |
|
Inspired by watching a tree dancing
to a breeze and joined by a squirrel while I was waiting
for Bus No. 72.
